Above and Beyond a Career...
We are dedicated to searching for outstanding children support workers from varied and diverse backgrounds to contribute to the positive and supportive environments that our homes offer our children. We have an active workforce road map guiding our staff to be the best not only for the children but for themselves. As well as frequent supervision, all our adult team participate in Reflection Groups which offer professional and emotional support. Wide-ranging training is ongoing and focused on every aspect of supporting young people and growing our own skills.
At Woodbridge Care, every day brings something new — and that’s exactly what makes working in care so special.
Our work is challenging, exciting and deeply rewarding. We support children from complex backgrounds and our team steps into the role of therapeutic caregivers and extended family. We aim high for both our children and our staff, delivering exceptional care while providing a positive, supportive framework for everyone who works with us.

Our adult team embody our values of Kindness, Positivity and Independence to create an environment where everyone truly thrives. We recruit dedicated, motivated individuals who connect with our vision and values. While qualifications matter, we believe your personal qualities, compassion and character are what make adults suitable for our team.
At Woodbridge Care, we don’t just hire great people — we invest in them. We offer clear development pathways through NVQ Levels 2 to 5, along with mandatory training and continuous professional development.
Our team benefits from tailored tutoring, workshops, seminars, online learning and consistent mentoring to ensure everyone grows with confidence and purpose.
We recognise and celebrate our employees, creating a workplace that reflects the profound value we place on those who commit to caring for our children. A healthy work–life balance is essential, so we ensure our teams are supported, well-being is prioritised and renumeration is among the highest in the sector.
At Woodbridge Care, you are part of a team that stands behind you — every step of the way.
We want you to come to work knowing you are supported, appreciated and empowered to make a real difference.

Our Team Work

CURRICULUM vITAE

Our Job Description
"Healing from the past. Caring in the present.
Equipping for the future."

This is the heart of what we bring to young people at Woodbridge Care. We are a small, family-run company providing 24/7 care for children. We have been running homes for children in Melton for two and a half years.

Our work with young people has been described by social workers as 'exceptional'. At the heart of this is our commitment to improving their lives by building relationships and bringing order, calmness and ambition to their lives.

What does the job involve?
Looking after children and providing a superb home for them where they are valued, cared for, supported, encouraged and nurtured. It's shift work - two days on (including sleeps) then four days off.

What's the pay?
It will depend on your background and experience but our rates of pay are exceptional for this sector.

What qualifications or experience do I need?
Here's the crucial part: you need to show us that you have long-term commitment and passion for looking after young people who have been through a difficult time and the skills to build excellent relationships with them. (You don't need to have formal experience or qualifications or to have worked in residential care before.)

Anything else?
You need to be calm, committed and have really high standards for being punctual and reliable. You will want to go above and beyond to help look after our young people and our ethos and approach will excite you.

What about training and qualifications?
If you have them already then that is great. Otherwise we will enroll you on an NVQ programme and help and support you with a range of other training opportunities.

We are a member of the The Consortium of Therapeutic Communities and there will be many opportunities for you to advance your knowledge and your practice in your journey with us through training with them and other organisations too. As you would expect, you will be given a full induction.
